'Choose between Rotimi Amaechi and Rivers People" Youths in Rivers state tell President Buhari

Following the clash between the security details of Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike and that of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, over the weekend (read here), youths in Rivers state today staged a protest in which they asked President Buhari to chose between the peace in Rivers state or Rotimi Amaechi.

The youths led by their Leader, Hon. The Senate has recalled its former Majority Leader, Ali Ndume, that was placed on suspension eight months ago. Ndume who represents Borno South in the chambers was suspended following the recommendation of the ethics and privileges committee of the Senate headed by Chris Anyanwu.

Man who broke into woman's home and raped her jailed after being caught using her bank card in McDonalds

A man who broke into a woman's home and raped her has been jailed after he was caught using her bank card in McDonalds.

Daniel Wallace, 33, of Weymouth Terrace, E2, was sentenced to 12 years at Blackfriars Crown Court on Monday, November 13.

He was found guilty at the same court on Friday, 6 October of rape following a re-trial. He was found guilty of burglary at the initial trial on Monday, 19 June.

Wallace was arrested in possession of what the judge described as a 'Rape Kit' after the attack.

Beautiful 22-year-old Tanzanian actress,  Elizabeth Michael ‘Lulu’ has been sentenced by a Dar es Salaam court for the death of Steven Kanumba whom she was dating until his death.

The ugly incident occurred on April 7th, 2012 when Lulu was 19 years old while Kanumba was 28 years.

Steven Kanumba who was a popular Tanzanian actor died after Lulu pushed him to the wall during an argument because of a call she allegedly received from another man.
